At the moment, I'm writing this from somewhere beautiful. Maybe a mountain pass in the French Alps. Maybe a lakeside in Italy, or by the sea on the Dorset Coast. Probably with the dog asleep in the back of the van. This is what financial clarity looks like in practice. Not a number on a spreadsheet - a life you've consciously chosen, with the freedom to live it fully.
I'm Helen. Certified Financial Coach, Chartered Accountant, and the woman who lefta Corporate finance career in 2024 to prove that getting your finances sorted isn'tjust about security - it's about possibility.
The journey started with my own finances. When I finally got to grips with my money,
my pensions, and my future, something shifted. Suddenly a year-long sabbatical
travelling Europe wasn't a fantasy - it was a plan. I did it. I climbed mountains,
swam in lakes, and came home completely transformed, determined to get more of
this into my life.
Now we travel regularly across Europe with our dog, Marlo, in our campervan,
Valerie, named after my mum. This past January we drove with the van stacked to
the brim with skis, boots and endless skiing and hiking equipment to the French Alps
for the ultimate escape from the rainy English winter. This summer, we're heading to the Norwegian Fjords and the Arctic Circle for nearly two months. I'll be working from the van. That's not luck. That's what happens when you take control of your money.
Nobody can change a person, but you can be the reason for that change.
